KOEB Environmental Consult is a multi-disciplinary architectural and environmental consultancy based in Enugu, Nigeria, with deep roots in design innovation, sustainability, and project execution. Meet Our Leadership

Dr. Chinwe Sam-Amobi (FNIA) – Principal Partner

A pioneering figure in Nigeria’s architectural and environmental space, Arc. Chinwe Sam-Amobi phd is the Principal Partner at KOEB Environmental Consult. With a career spanning over four decades, she brings a rare blend of academic excellence, policy influence, and on-the-ground project delivery.

Her expertise spans architecture, environmental management and sustainability, urban planning, procurement consulting, and renewable energy advisory.

From leading World Bank-assisted health system development projects to crafting masterplans for universities and tourism destinations across Nigeria, Dr. Sam-Amobi is a recognized thought leader, mentor, and advocate for inclusive, energy-efficient design.

Beyond her professional work, she is active in community and professional service—as a past Chair of NIA Enugu State Chapter, ARCON Education Committee Member, and Rotary, community-based organizations, the church among others.

Arc. Chidera Kemji Amobi (MNIA)– Chief Operating Officer

At the heart of KOEBEC’s project execution is Chidera Kemji Amobi, an agile and highly driven COO with expertise in Design, Project management, BIM implementation, construction management, and architectural visualization. With an MSc in Architecture from the prestigious University Of Nigeria Enugu Campus, a Doctorate in Business Administration in view and over a decade of leadership experience, he has steered numerous high-impact projects including TETFUND interventions, A Hilton Garden Inn, Mega church complexes, A world class 250 bed multi specialist hospital, a modular tech and innovation hub and University infrastructure developments to name but a few.

Kemji is passionate about design as a tool for transformation, merging aesthetics with performance, and vision with viability. His commitment to mentorship, innovation, and excellence is shaping the next generation of Nigerian architecture.

He is proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Lumion, SketchUp, and energy modeling tools, and is a registered member of NIA and ARCON.
